Firstly let us introduce ourselves. We are Helen and Doug and Cyprus is our 'second home'.
Helen is Greek-Cypriot, born in the UK, and her father came from the northern part of Cyprus which is now under Turkish occupation.
Doug is British and, until two years ago, had worked in the travel business for 40 years having had long spells with the Greek airline, Olympic Airways, and also with a Cypriot specialist tour operator packaging and selling holidays to Cyprus.
We have been visiting the island since 1967 and, although we don't claim to know everything about the country, we are extremely familiar with the Cyprus history, geography, its people and traditions. So please feel free to ask us anything you wish to know and we'll try to help.
After all these years we finally realised our ambition of owning our own piece of Cyprus and, since we're not ready for the permanent move yet, we decided to let it out and let others have some benefit from this lovely place.
